As the molecular chain is long, it is highly resistant against wear&tear. In compliance with with the Sand Slurry wearing test conducted in accordance with the relevant DIN standarts, Polipolen\u00ae(Polyethilene) has the highest resistance against wear&tear among all known 1000 class solid materials (steel, wood and other plastics etc.)

\nPE 1000 ultra high molecular weight polyethilene: those having a molecular weight in excess of 3 million g\/mol
